She hopes to continue her education after college by attending medical school to become a physician. Her passion for medicine was heavily influenced by her grandfather, Dr. Allan Takase, who served as one of the first OB\/GYNs in her hometown of Hilo, Hawaii.<\/p>\n<p>Darian joined the MNO lab as an image analyst in Fall 2017 to gain invaluable insight about the medical implications of glioblastomas.
