Gina is a senior completing her undergraduate degree in medical studies at Arizona State University. Gina began her journey in the Precision Neurotherapeutics Lab in January 2018 where she devotes her time to segmenting glioblastomas. As an image analyst, Gina has found the application of mathematical modeling and neurotherapeutics to be one of the most exciting fields to study and is very fortunate to be a part of a team of devoted researchers. Outside of the lab, Gina is a board director for the Assyrian American Cultural Organization of Arizona where she serves as the chairman of charitable outreach. She is passionate about her ethnic roots and enjoys sharing her heritage with members of the community.
At Arizona State University, Gina is employed as an instructional aide for Anatomy and physiology and is an officer for the American Medical Student Association where she provides resource awareness for pre-health students. Being apart of the pre-health community has solidified her dreams and ambitions of applying to medical school in hopes of one day being a physician.
