Medical Student
Aditya Khurana (“Ditty”) is a current medical student at the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine. He was a part of the inaugural class at the Arizona campus. He joined Dr. Swanson’s lab when he began medical school because of his interests in machine learning and its clinical applications. He additionally has interests in artificial intelligence and natural language processing and had received grant funding during his first year of medical school to pursue AI/NLP applications within the electronic health record. He is currently interested in interventional radiology as a career. In his spare time, he loves to explore coffee shops in the area and stay active with cycling classes, yoga, working out, and trail running. He may be hiding a funny side as well, since he was the MC for the med school talent show two years in a row.
