Bio
Aarti is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences at the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. After graduating from Grinnell College with majors in Biochemistry and Gender, Women’s and Sexuality Studies, she worked as a Clinical Research Fellow in a vaccine trials team at the National Institutes of Health. Broadly, she is interested in using computational tools to expedite translation from the field of cancer biology to patients and populations at large. Outside of the lab, she enjoys experimenting in the kitchen and has particular interest in Thai, Indian and French cuisines.
