Javier Urcuyo,
Research Assistant

Javier Urcuyo joined the lab as a student intern in 2018, working on creating a mathematical model for tumor growth measured with bioluminescence imaging. He continued his work in 2019 as a Research Assistant and graduated from Arizona State University in May with baccalaureate degrees in Applied Mathematics and Biology. After transitioning to full-time, he began working on using RNAseq data to model tumor growth with immune interactions. Javi hopes to pursue an MD-PhD and study auto-immune interactions.
