Bio
Paula joined the lab in the summer of 2017 after graduating from the University of Washington with her BA in Medical Anthropology and Global Health. Her goal is to become a physician who researches health disparities and community-based approaches to health and healing. Currently, Paula is utilizing medical literature and the lab’s data to research image-based sexual dimorphism in glioblastomas. Her research emphasizes the importance of considering sex as a relevant biological factor in medical research and individualized cancer treatment.
